![]() ![]() ![]() Nikola is anticipating significant growth in Canada with eligibility received for the Incentives for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicles (iMHZEV) Program. In addition, Nikola customers will also be eligible for a $40,000 clean commercial vehicle tax credit from the federal government due to the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act. The California Air Resources Board ("CARB") Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project ("HVIP") program further accelerated securing a majority of the 202 sales orders. Nikola became HVIP eligible in 2023, which enables Nikola's hydrogen fuel cell electric truck customers to access a point-of-sale incentive starting at $240,000 and ranging up to $288,000 per truck. Nikola's hydrogen fuel cell electric truck is well-suited for a variety of applications ranging from drayage and intermodal to metro-regional truckload and less-than-truckload to certain specialized hauling use cases. Nikola's first-mover hydrogen fuel cell electric truck features a range of up to 500 miles and an estimated fueling time of approximately 20 minutes* and is expected to have among the longest ranges of all commercially available zero tailpipe emission Class 8 trucks. This milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Nikola team." "We are proud to achieve this milestone of 202 sales orders together with our dealer network, as we believe it demonstrates the level of confidence our customers and stakeholders have in our vision and technology, as well as our HYLA hydrogen supply and infrastructure solutions. "This remarkable demand for our hydrogen fuel cell electric truck confirms the industry's trend toward sustainable transportation solutions," said Michael Lohscheller, Nikola's President and CEO. ![]() Deliveries are expected to begin later this year, with some following the satisfactory completion of a demonstration program. The trucks recently started series production in the Nikola Coolidge, Ariz. Deliveries are expected to begin later this year. They're cool and I sometimes use them for exploration and protection against critters, but that's it.Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks recently started series production in the Nikola Coolidge, Ariz. For me, setting up trucks just isn't worth the time and resources when I need every bit of it for something else, and it's just faster to stretch a few belts before the trains comes in. Later you need much more for steel and more power. Those numbers matches Mark 1 and 2 belts, and for a 8:3 setup you need 8*15=120 coal. The ratios from miner/belts matches the coal generators normal setup exactly. Overall, just not worth it unless one have oil to spare, because the little coal there is is pretty much used on coal generators and steel. It has been suggested to buff the torque since they're extremely slow upwards where they actually could have beaten (or worked besides) Trains in medium lengths and uphill, and changed the UI/UX/AI.īut yes, Suzaku summarized it pretty well :) Originally posted by Tenebris:Why do some of you not like vehicles? That is my questionĪ few months ago there was a HUGE thread with numbers and with a lot of good arguments for and against the trucks in the current state: No need to spend hours setting up roads with walls, just put a few ramps around the world, and they should be good to go. If an AI vehicle gets stuck, or drowns itself in the river, just make sure it has fuel and then leave the area, it will magically return to its route, and continue its journey. if i could somehow move one of those dropped arrow markers manually insted of having to re-record the whole damn loop that would make things much easier to setup and manage.Īlso little tips and tricks i wish i had known that would have saved me literally hours. Its not as intuitive of a system as it could be.Įditing the points isnt really editing, its just deleting a waypoint. One thing that really puts people off, even me at one point was the learning curve on setting up AI routes. I usually pull out my coffee cup and take bets on who will win. ![]() but its very entertaining to watch them struggle against one another. The only downside is they tend to run into each other when im in the area. One outpost i have 5 vehicles running raw resources. Ive even found situtions where i could easily have set up a conveyer but decided i like to watch my little tractor that could do its runs back and forth. In single which is all i play tbh, they are fine. Ive heard they are horrid in multiplayer. ![]()
